MEDSTAFF National Medical Staffing is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist at the Sheridan VA in Wyoming.
SCHEDULE: Primarily will work 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday with shared on-call. Must commit to at least one year.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
U.S. Citizenship
Full unrestricted Licensure, Certification, or Registration required.
Must pass pre-employment examination.
Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required.
Background and/or Security Investigation required. English Language Proficiency required.

EDUCATION Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Approved schools are:

• Schools of medicine holding regular institutional membership in the Association of American Medical Colleges for the year in which the degree was granted.
• Schools of osteopathic medicine approved by the American Osteopathic Association for the year in which the degree was granted.
• Schools (including foreign schools) accepted by the licensing body of a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico), or in the District of Columbia as qualifying for full or unrestricted licensure.

Clinical: 95%

• Leader of the multidisciplinary team on inpatient acute psychiatry, SNU, Residential or Domiciliary.
Compensation and Pension examinations.
• Participation in psychiatric on call rotation.
• Other clinical duties as assigned.

Administrative: 5%
1. Assists the program director or coordinator in the design, development, and implementation of clinical programs for a team oftreatment providers.
2. Assist the program director or coordinator in the execution of ongoing program evaluation and data-driven quality improvement projects to monitor the effectiveness of the clinical program.
3. Facilitates liaisons with other health care programs in order to effectively coordinate serVIces.
4. Complies with national and local performance measures, including timeliness health care screening and completion of clinical reminders for all patients.
5. Complies with all CPRS documentation procedures, including timeliness standards for documentation and proper patient check out procedures (e.g., entering diagnostic and procedure codes). 6. Attends and participates in administrative and informational meetin! gs held by the Service Line Director (or designee) and facility Director.
7. Attends regular Mental Health Staff meetings, Medical Staff meetings, and complies with Mental Health peer review procedures.
8. Participates in other committee assignments as instructed.
