What you'll do:
Learn all aspects of the platform and identify weak points of various processes used in multiple teams and roles.
Facilitate process improvements and make sure all the obstacles and dependencies are addressed in a timely manner.
Debug production issues to find the actual root cause, and report them to the relevant teams, ensuring these issues receive adequate attention.
Collaborate with Dev and PM teams to deliver top-quality features by analyzing requirements, mitigating risks, creating test plans, conducting functional and non-functional tests, and reporting project status.
Optimize manual testing and processes through automation or implementing a new solution.
Identify and escalate potential issues without hesitating to raise red flags when necessary.
Qualifications:
A QA engineer with 5+ years of experience, who’s passionate about quality with strong knowledge of web testing and web tools.
As a good team player, you genuinely care about the team’s success.
Your strong technical skills make you a pro at identifying issues and solving complex problems, and your web-related knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS, API testing, and Browser debugging) is impressive.
You’re a great communicator and can proactively convey the product’s quality status using high-level English both conversationally and in writing.
You’re highly motivated and can plan and lead QA activities as well as identify and mitigate risks.
You can handle being QA focal point for the entire dev team.
You know how to ask the right questions and push back when needed.
A Sherlock Holmes-style problem solver, you’re good at taking ownership of tasks.
